Generative Habitat is a set of architectural devices that stimulates the mutation of abandoned and undervalued public space, revealing its unexpressed potential and multiplying
its possibilities of use through transient configurations that adapt and implement over time.
Unica Space Force is a collective from the University of Cagliari made up of professors, researchers, and students from
the School of Architecture. Through practices of thought/action and design and self-construction workshops, the collective produces Generative Habitats in urban and rural contexts across Sardinia. This volume gathers the principles and experiences developed by USF starting from 2012.
